Free Download | Beautiful Website Header Backgrounds
A well designed and cohesive website is essential to your brand image. One of the first few things someone visiting your website will take notice of is your header & logo. Although it is perfectly fine to keep it simple (such as mine) others may want a touch of something unique; a color scheme, a repeated pattern or something completely different! Unfortunately for me, I'm using Squarespace (not Wordpress) and I'm slightly limited in what I can and can't customize in the template I'm currently using. I know there has to be a way to add my own header image using some form of customized code, but it hasn't really been a priority of mine to find out. Once I have more time, I might research it a bit more.
Anyway, I know it's been a while since I've done one of these freebies and decided it might be nice to create some beautiful header images! This post contains 7 lovely (and absolutely free) website/blog headers you can download and install today. These custom headers were created by yours truly and offer a touch of elegance and sophistication to your brand.
The best way to customize these is to head on over to Canva, navigate to the top right and click on "use custom dimensions." You'll be directed to a popup that allows you to put in the exact dimensions. These banner images measure at 1126px wide by 500px tall. From here, you can upload the banner directly and add your logo and any text you like before uploading to your site.
These banners work great for those using Wordpress themes and remember to play around with sizing and customize these banners to suite your needs.
