Happy almost-fall!
Yes, I’m one of those “fall girls” that starts decorating and getting ready for fall in August. I may or may not have already put a few items up around my house already.
What’s the best way to start transitioning from summer into fall? Pumpkins are an obvious choice, but you can decorate your home without being so blatantly fall. Warmer toned pillows, fall scents and foliage are a great way place to start. And if you like pumpkin spice, then go crazy and get some pumpkin spice creamer for your coffee.
We moved into a new house in January and because of timing, we were unable to decorate last year while our house was on the market. Our house had to be “showroom ready” at the flip of a switch. Although it was stressful at the time, I am so glad we made the move. With the addition of our son in December, we were in serious need of an upgrade.
I don’t want to jump the gun too early, but I’m so ready to decorate our new house with all the fall decor I wasn’t able to put up last year.
I love warm, neutral and dark fall colors. Pairing dark and warm neutral colors pairs great with stark white accent piece. It creates a very clean and minimal look and works well all year round! Amazon is a great place to go for cheap decor. And during COVID times, ordering especially convenient.
